I will follow you
These are the words we usually tell to people we find in great awe or someone we dmire or is so attractive. perhaps just because we were just shocked by the physical attributes of that person.
In the Gospel, many people said these, that they will follow Jesus wherever He will go but Jesus only answered, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests."
Its meaning for me is that we have our own homes that we should live and be with it. We could follow Jesusjust by statring it with our own little homes. Showing good examples to your children, teaching them, having good rapport with your neighbors. avoiding gossips and backstabbing others.
yet, a second man told Jesus, " Lord, first let me go and bury my father." Jesus answered, " Follow me and let the dead bury the dead. "
These are two contradicitng situations that make people confused.
for myself, these are two situations that people should follow regarding what state of life they are following.
